I rather like pinwheels and it&#8217;s been a long while since I&#8217;ve made any. This pattern has really big pinwheels, which makes it a bit more complex (and I&#8217;ve already managed to make several pieces backwards!). .<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also been through my fabric cupboard and pulled out everything I can find that would combine with the Nature&#8217;s Notebook jelly roll, because I won&#8217;t have enough fabric from the jelly roll alone. I can&#8217;t tell you how much I love using up fabric that&#8217;s been in the stash for a gazillion years.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/114.jpg\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1295\" title=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/114.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/114.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/114-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My only worry now is that quite a lot of the jell roll strips fall into the category of &#8216;middle of the spectrum&#8217; and I&#8217;m not sure whether I&#8217;m going to get enough definition from them. As you can see, one of the longer blue points of the trial pinwheel doesn&#8217;t really stand out sharply.
