{"id":168,"date":"2010-04-05T18:20:17","date_gmt":"2010-04-05T18:20:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/?p=168"},"modified":"2010-04-05T18:20:17","modified_gmt":"2010-04-05T18:20:17","slug":"happy-foot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/?p=168","title":{"rendered":"Happy Foot!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Despite the chaos of the Easter weekend, I finally managed to finish the first of the <em>sleepy hollow socks<\/em> using\u00a0 Merino 100 from <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.OceanwindKnits.ca\" title=\"Oceanwind Knits\" >Oceanwind Knits<\/a> (the pattern is from Oceanwind too).<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/CIMG2438_575x431.jpg\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-169\" title=\"CIMG2438_575x431\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/CIMG2438_575x431.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"431\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/CIMG2438_575x431.jpg 575w, https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/CIMG2438_575x431-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am so proud of it! Certainly the trickiest sock I&#8217;ve ever knitted &#8211; but it&#8217;s gorgeous and I love it! I&#8217;m sure it will be much easier making the second one. The heel gusset and flap were worked in a way that I haven&#8217;t tried before which took a little figuring out. The pattern was challenging too &#8211; but now I have it sussed and I can tell you&#8230;I&#8217;m flying!!!\u00a0 I can really recommend the Oceanwinds wool &#8211; it&#8217;s so nice to knit with and the colour is fabulous. I&#8217;m sure my photo doesn&#8217;t really do it justice.<\/p>\n<p>So I guess you know what I&#8217;ll be doing this evening!
