I haven’t counted the months, but it’s been a while. Finally though my little Winter White<\/em> Schnibble has found a home. I’ve hummed and hawed about where to hang it and finally decided that this corner of my bathroom was just about the perfect place. Tick! Another one done.<\/p>\n

Hanging things is always a bit of a faff here. Our walls are made of super-reinforced withstand a nuclear attack concrete, so everything involves a super-powerful drill. I don’t do drills. Just like I don’t do lawnmowers. They scare me witless and I know that I would just have to look at one to have a truly horrible accident.<\/p>\n

All of which means that I need to have dearly beloved and handy about the house husband here. During the week is out, as he comes in after 7pm after which time drilling holes is a criminal offense in Switzerland. As goes for Sundays, or before 8am, or between the hours of 12 and 2…and mostly, if I’m honest, we have stuff going on on Saturdays. So it’s all a little precarious and sometimes takes a while.<\/p>\n

This weekend worked out though – so I’m very happy! The picture which was hanging where the Schnibble is now is now standing against the wall and needs a home….This could take a while….<\/p>\n

One day I’m going to blog about all the rules and regulations which apply when you live in Switzerland. I could write a book about them.<\/p>\n
