{"id":2325,"date":"2011-07-09T15:02:40","date_gmt":"2011-07-09T15:02:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/?p=2325"},"modified":"2011-07-09T15:02:40","modified_gmt":"2011-07-09T15:02:40","slug":"tempted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/?p=2325","title":{"rendered":"Tempted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently I&#8217;ve been pretty good about not adding to my stash, but a month or so ago I was led a little astray over at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theyarnyard.co.uk\" >the Yarn Yard. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/16.jpg\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2326\" title=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/16.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/16.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.runquiltknitwrite.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/16-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2 skeins of \u00a0<em>Crannog<\/em> Making Mischief &#8211; eye-poppingly purply-blue. I didn&#8217;t expect it to be as&#8230;well&#8230; bright&#8230;bold. Could I make Tea Leaves in this? I would have enough. But I might stop the traffic wearing it. It would certainly get me noticed!<\/p>\n<p>1 skein of <em>Bonny<\/em> Making Mischief &#8211; for socks. Bluer and a touch more subdued than the Crannog version.<\/p>\n<p>1 skein of \u00a0<em>Toddy<\/em> Haar &#8211; delicate and subdued. Probably about as far away from the other two as you could get. Perfect for a pair of ladylike lacy socks.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s always a bit of a game of chance, ordering over the internet. I know myself just how hard it is to make photos where the colours are perfectly true.
