I bet you thought I’d gone on holiday – I’ve been missing in action for the last few days, but \u00a0no fear, I’ve been here, just a little silent. Not because I had nothing to say though. More that it was just time to stop faffing about and get this quilt on the road. So I’ve been here – in the garret – sewing my little woolly socks off rather than skipping around in the ether reading and writing blog posts.<\/p>\n

Brrr! – or Brrr! minus the borders at least – is now sashed together. I love how its come together. The photos are rather dark and aren’t very true to colour, mainly because their is no natural light here at all at the moment. We’re living in the usual November fog bank. So think a little softer, a little pinker and away from rust and you’ve got it. if the sun ever shines again I’ll get an outside photo.<\/p>\n

Now it’s time to get on with the 250 HSTs that I need to make for the border.<\/p>\n

Ho hum!<\/p>\n

I’m dreaming about them again!<\/p>\n

For those of you who asked, this quilt is going to my 85 year old mother for Christmas. She won’t know what to do with it, but I think at least it will be too big to be put in a drawer and kept for ‘best’!<\/p>\n
