Today has been a quietly productive day

My second Treasure Chest block for the EEEEP EPP BEE

Home-made blackcurrant jam with my first picking

Home-made pesto

Freshly weeded vegetable beds

A weeded and replanted corner
Slowly but surely I’m getting there!

Isn’t it great when we accomplish a lot of what seemed to be huge tasks but turned out to not be so big when we finally tackle them.
We seem to be out of our heat wave (at least for the next day or so) so perhaps I’ll get back to my normal level of energy – I’m sitting by an open window and there is actually a cool breeze wafting in – how lovely!!!!!

Wow, you have been busy! Around here we are waiting for the rain to finally stop, and for the jet stream to move north and stop loitering over us, and then I can get to grips with the horrendous weeds everywhere. The garden is not going to be stellar this year. Way too much rain, and when you plant for a drought, that is a problem. Oh well. There is always next year!

Goodness me you have been busy. I am happy if I manage to knock one thing off my list in a day. Your list must be looking much shorter now!

You have achieved more than I achieve in a week!

Well done! I spent most of the day procrastinating wildly, but did manage to finish sewing some binding. Must try to cut fabric for my EEEP EPP blocks today.

Really love this EPP block. Do you know where I could get a pattern for it?
My garden has been overtaken by weeds. I’m afraid to let the cat out for fear that he will never find his way back home from the jungle.
