Meadowsweet squares in the meadow
If my day job didn’t keep getting in the way, I’d have this little monster finished in the twinkling of an eye. It is probably the quickest and easiest quilt I’ve ever made – not a masterpiece in the offing, but it’s bright and breezy and full of the joys of spring. I also think it’s working pretty well with the crazy Meadowsweet mixture. And how amazing it is to be able to have blocks laid out on dry grass in April in Switzerland! We’re certainly seeing some global warming here this spring.
It’s fun to make something that is pure relaxation and manages to use up some stash in the bargain and I’m really enjoying making these blocks. I don’t know yet how many blocks I’ll make in all – ideal would be 5 rows by 4, which would give me a nice single bed sized quilt.
I may run out of fabric before then and need to get creative.
I’m going with the flow and I’ll let you know!

Helen…this is looking great. It’s nice to change it up and do something easy and relaxing once and a while, isn’t it?
