I don’t think I can decide on one favorite place in England; we’ve had many lovely holidays there. A Norfolk Broads boating holiday, a wonderful week in Cornwall, many trips to London and not to forget the four month I spend in Bornmouth to polish my school English many, many years ago.

What beautiful pictures, Helen! I have been to England once, and then for only four days – not enough by any stretch. I was smitten with Yorkshire and would love to go back and spend more time there. So good to have you back – your readers missed you!

I spent a year one night in the terminal at RAF Mildenhall. Been trying to get back to see England ever since. Welcome back. Sounds like your batteries are recharged too.

I would have to say Warwickshire in the Midlands where I spent the first 18 years of my life. I lived near Warwick but went to school in Stratford Upon Avon. The buildings are beautiful, lots of antique shops, NT properties and the countryside is just wonderful. LOVE it! Thanks for the giveaway!

Beautiful pictures! Since I have never had the opportunity to visit England, I guess my first choice would be London and then definitely to the countryside to see the beautiful landscape.

I always thought it would be wonderful to take a walking tour and visit the wonderful old houses & gardens, like Sissinghurst.

I love the energy of London and the calm and charm of the Cotswolds.

I’ve never been – and my first stop would be to visit our friend, Linds! Then The Lake District, the Cotswolds, London, the White Cliffs, walking through the countryside – so much to fit in. Thanks for sharing!

I have only been to england once and I loved it. If I had the chance to visit again I would love to see the stone circles which are so ancient it takes your breath away. And I would visit the coasts and seaside.
