Sproutling is sprouting…

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

…but very slowly, given the teeny weeny needles I’m using and the fiddly pattern – which is, however, very pretty. Things should speed up when I make it to the ankle though, because then the pattern switches into stocking stitch, which should whizz along in comparison.

The yarn is good enough to eat! Thank you Three Irish Girls – this one is gorgeous!!

The pattern does look very pretty and the wool looks like aquamarine – a delightful combination!!

Looks gorgeous, Helen. I shall have to try a patterned sock next. Doing another plain pair to get my confidence up! Wearing my first pair all the time – so cosy!

Ooooooohh! I see you have begun your socks! The yarn is sooooo delicious. It must make your eyes happy while you are knitting.

I am working on my first patterned sock – something called a seed stitch. Actually quite pretty but patterns do take a bit more concentration, don’t they! For me – slow going! my brain gets tired!
