My very first mosaic
For a long time now I’ve been very envious of all the bloggers out there who make lovely mosaics from their photos. I finally got Annabella to tell me the secret ….and here’s my first effort. It absolutely wasn’t as daunting as I thought it would be – but proved to me that I have to have a sensible filing system for my photos – the current situation is hopeless!
This is a real mishmash of old and new quilts….
What fun! You’ll be seeing more of these!

It’s as delightful to look at as it was for you to create. Thanks for sharing, Helen!

You have created so many beautiful quilts Helen. I don’t know how to make my photos into a mosaic and wondered how too!

Congratulations – how nice to have a look back at your past creations. Mosaics are fun – I found that the trick was to re-size all the photos I wanted to use before placing them.
Like you I need to put my photos into order – I spend way too much time searching.
I totally concur with your opinion of the hacker – what possible satisfaction they can derive from their silly antics is beyond me.

I’ve only recently learned too, and now I love doing them! Still takes me an age to do it though, and I forget from one time to the next!
Lovely collection of quilats.

Lovely mosaic, Helen. I don’t know how you made it but there is the easiest way ever on Picassa. Just pick the photos and press “collage”. All your quilts and pouches look great in a mosaic.
