I had to laugh…
Recently I did a new wordpress update. Update? Well it tweaked a few things I guess, but I didn’t notice much of a difference.
Not until this morning that is.
Then I realized that there was a new thingy in my column on the right. That’s right. Have you seen it? A special subscriber thingy. And then I had to laugh. Other blogs I visit have hundreds, sometimes thousands of followers or subscribers, or whatever you want to call yourselves out there. I noticed that I have 1. Yes ONE!!
I would like to thank that one lovely subscriber. I would like to tell you, whoever you are out there, that I appreciate your commitment.
How sad would it have been if there had been none?
This is not to say that I don’t have readers. I do, I know I do. I see my blog stats, which look pretty healthy. Some of you leave comments. (Which I love getting by the way!!) So thank you to all my anonymous and not so anonymous readers too !
But special thanks to MY SUBSCRIBER!!

Ah see, subscribers are different to followers – it’s the followers that count 😉 oh and the lonely subscriber of course!

Oh my what an agonizing quandary – to subscribe or not!!!!!
I think I’ll just stick to my regular made of access – checking on my favourite blogs as I finish my morning mug of tea.

i try to get them on e-mail but when they don’t have e-mail i get them this way

I think it might be me! I would be so proud. I enjoy reading your blog. I am a knitter, european (dutch), but lived for 6 years in Switzerland (villars sur ollon, VD), and would still live there if I hadn’t met my american husband (35 years ago).
So your blog touches on a few of my interests:)

Well that just can’t be true… I’ve been subscribing on Google Reader for a while now and I’m sure I’m not alone. Also I checked and your stats on Google Reader say 64!
