The final push
Do you ever get that feeling that it’s just time to finish something? Time to knuckle down and get on with it and get the thing done?
That’s me, now, with Hopscotch.
Don’t get me wrong. I still absolutely love it. Love the fabric, love the pattern, but I feel like I’ve been making triangles for a very long time and I want to stop. I want to see how the purple and white stars look when they’re all sewn together. I want to hang it over a balcony on a sunny day and just go ‘wow’.
So today is the day. My husband is working, the kids are either out or studying….and the alternative would appear to be cleaning bathrooms.
I think they can wait, don’t you?
So I’m going for it.
Hopscotch here I come!

Whoo hoo!! Can’t wait to see the stars. Good luck.
I have decided that being overwhelmed by the thought of moving my sewing room downstairs is not going to get it done.

Great decision – cleaning almost always takes second place for me. Now go and hopscotch to your heart’s content.

Och, the bathrooms can always wait, or employ a child when they get home š Good luck with the push to the line!

That would take me about a year to complete. I don’t know how you manage to be so quick! Absolutely beautiful quilt.
