Secret Sewing
Today I’m starting to tackle this month’s block for the Stitch Tease bee. I can’t show you much as the finished result has to be a secret – but I can tell you that I’m doing pin wheels for Di.
Why did I think this was going to be easy?
OK, maybe it wasn’t such a great idea to go for the fiddliest pinwheel I’ve ever seen….it’s a good job you aren’t sitting with me in my little sewing room….I don’t really ever swear..but believe me, my thoughts are blue right now and there’s been a huge amount of ripping out. Today is one of those days where absolutely nothing is going right or falling into place as far as sewing is concerned, but I’m battling on…..
One pinwheel block done and ….oooh….gazillions to go…
I’m enjoying myself really. Honest!

It’ll come out right in the end. And I never keep the blue words internalised – they all just pop right out unfortunately!

Good luck with that! And like Susan, my colourful words take on a life of their own š

I’m seeing some really nice matching points there.

Those points look very accomplished! I really don’t like ripping seams out – I generally put up with my shoddy workmanship unless it’s truly awful! Can’t wait to see the finished article.
