Hoodie
Ta daaaa…..
Knitting Pure and Simple: Neck Down Hooded Tunic for Women.
Manos del Uruguay: Wool Clasica (Handspun pure wool, kettle dyed)
This one has been a while coming, but I had a lovely little knit this morning and got it finished off. What you can’t see from the photo is how snuggly and cosy this is, without being hugely bulky. I think it will be something that I’ll wear a lot…it feels like the wool equivalent of chicken soup!
It also brings my net yarn situation to the year to a 4km minus!!! Can you believe I’ve knitted 4km of yarn and haven’t bought anything new at all. Probably the only area of my life where I’ve stuck to my New Year’s Resolution (even if it is more by accident than design!).
Anyway, now I’m off for a rummage through the yarn baskets to see what’s next!

Helen that hoodie looks cozy AND beautiful! Does it have some waist shaping? You look great in it.

It is LOVELY, Helen! You made quick work of finishing up that one… your needles must FLY! Mine travel at the speed of a toroise.

Came out lovely š and doesn’t look all bulky, just cosy.
Funnily enough, I’m sitting here planning what to do with various bits of stash: so far, I’ve settled on a superlight cardi, an interesting (v. warm!) sweater, a shawl and an extra-light summer cover-up top… should keep me quiet for a bit!! Not forgetting all those WIPs… :O

It looks fantastic – it fits you so well Helen. You and the sweater are quite photogenic!

It’s gorgeous Helen and really trendy. You look fab in it. I simply HAVE to get knitting again. I don’t think I’ve done any this year hardly for one reason and another and I miss it.

That’s a lovely knit Helen, and from the photo the colours suit you perfectly and it looks a great fit…which is always a challenge with some patterns whatever the ‘finished’ measurements say!
Well done on not buying any yarn, think I’ll have to make that resolution next year too.
Happy knitting.

Oooh, that looks lovely. Do you think it would work in a cotton/linen yarn? I’m wondering if my mum needs a new project… š
