Day 2
Now I’m on my own and I’m motoring….can’t believe how much I’m getting done!!
Today’s finishes……
Zig-zag quilt top (Happy Mochi Yum Yum)
The first Waving Lace Sock (Evelyn A Clark, Madeline Tosh Sock yarn)….I’d rather like to rename this the Wiggy Sock after a certain young man’s wonderful success today!
My first manicure in living memory. It takes the Olympics to make me sit still for long enough for the nail varnish to dry!
Just to prove that I really am wonderwoman and to make you all hate me, I also managed to hoover the whole house, wash the floors and clean all the bathrooms before my better half went off with his biker buddies at 9.30 this morning! I needed to leave him with the impression that I’m really a wonderful housewife….whichl I am of course (not!)….and it meant that I could just sew to my heart’s content without feeling even remotely guilty!
Can’t tell you how much I’m loving this even if it is about a billion degrees up in my sewing room. It’s a little disconcerting when the sweat is running down your back when you’re sewing…
I wonder what’s in store tomorrow!

Ooh Socks – I’ve abandonded my sock. Maybe till winter eh? I have started to tackle the shallot mountain!

Love the happy Mochi – what a happy quilt! And what a shame that you have knitted such lovely socks when you must not be allowed to wear them when your feet are looking so pampered and lovely! Your feet look in very good shape – you must have been wearing sensible shoes during your formative years (no Geordie Shore nonsense!)

Ok, don’t take offense, but you clean your house and sew and give yourself a pedicure? I am such a wimp…I cannot do any of these things all in one day. I am a one trick pony for sure. You, on the other hand, are indeed a super woman

Great progress indeed, Wonder Woman!! The quilt is lovely, the socks are absolutely gorgeous, and the toes are cute! Now go sew up a storm!

Yup, I hate you.
Have you thought of scanning your socks, with or without feet inside? You probably noticed I’m slightly obsessed with scanning things, many animals, at the moment!
