Another one ticked off the list
Today I put the finishing touches to my Just Swell sewing machine cover. I’m happy with it – well I always am happy when I finally get round to doing something I’ve wanted to do for ages! – but I am clearly not capable of fundamental maths or taking measurements accurately. It’s too long – and I only realized once I’d already done the quilting – duh…..anyway, it can just tuck under a little and as I’m the only person who will notice it and I can live with it, I guess that’s OK!
The pattern and fabric are both by Camille Roskelley – the fabric is Bliss – and it really is bliss too – lovely stuff. Sigh…I think I’d like to be Camille Roskelley when I grow up!

Gee you are on fire with the finishes!! I wish it would rub off on me, I have pulled about 5 projects out of the cupboard & am nowhere near finishing ANY of them!!
Just keep plugging I guess, get off the computer & turn off the Paras. LOL

This is very pretty Helen! Just lovely. And better a touch bigger than too small. I love Bliss and Ruby too, and I am sorely tempted by the Flannels FQ bundle that they always release on the Bonnie & Camille lines. Maybe I could get the Marmalade Flannels for Christmas (Merry Christmas to me … from me …)

Oh I really need to make me one of those. I think I’ll have time about, oooh, this time next decade o.O

I never would have noticed it was too long! It turned out great. I should make a cover for my machine… I guess I’ll add it to my to-do list!

That’s lovely. I’ve been meaning to make one for ages too but somehow I don’t think it’ll turn out as beautiful as yours, assuming I ever get it made!

This turned out just lovely and a little long is a lot better than a little short

It looks great. I have had a machine cover on my list for a long time. The fabric looks neat.
