Just quilting…..
Today I’m quilting my Lime Fizz quilt top…you remember, the one with all that lovely Sweetwater fabric? I’m going really simple and am just outlining the lime bubbles. For the first time I’ve actually found an Aurifil thread that my Bernina has made friends with and I’m loving it. Now I actually get what you all mean when you rave about Aurifil!
So that’s me today. Quilting and then cleaning the house when I need a break from sewing.
It’s a nice feeling, making progress on both fronts 🙂

Woo hoo! Lime Fizz and Aurifil at last – it does make a difference doesn’t it. I’ve been doing a bit of sewing, then a bit of housework all day.

I must try the aurifil on Eartha, she might like it better than Gretchen did?
Sometimes you just have to quilt it quick. Besides, done is good!

This looks great. That is how I am going to quilt mine too. I need to baste it and I am waiting for the backing fabric. How are your dinner rituals coming along?

Your day sounds very similar to mine although mine is cleaning the house and then sewing when I need a break from cleaning!

I’ve given away all my other spools of cotton thread ~ it’s Aurifill and my Bernina now, a match made in heaven!
