Snow Bunny
I’m starting to feel a bit healthier and have been hitting the skis…
Top of the Gemsstock, Canton Uri, Switzerland (2,963m…that’s almost 10,000 feet). Above the clouds.
And here on cross country skis in the valley between Andermatt and Hospental. So peaceful.
It feels great to be able to get out into the crisp mountain air and get some exercise and enjoy the peace of the Alps. Normal life will resume soon and I need these days to tank up on Vitamin B and fresh air – not to mention the quiet!

Beautiful!
Ooh, the excitement, another 9 days to go before I get up to altitude and C is teasing me by going up for a long weekend with her friends today…!!
Glad you’re feeling better x

Wow!! Talk about blooming where you are planted!! How good to be able to get out & enjoy all the area has to offer.
Missed my walk on the beach today but planning for tomorrow!

That sounds wonderful. Still no snow here but it’s getting colder so I think winter will be here properly soon …

Looks blissful and so pleased you are feeling well enough to get out and about.

So glad that you are feeling better Helen – nothing like some crisp mountain air to clear out the cobwebs and to start feeling human again. Enjoy your “mountain” time.
As for me – it is just too cold to go out today but tomorrow promises to be a lot milder so you can be sure that I will be out and about on my daily outings.

Wonderful! It ALMOST makes me wish for snow, and then I remember that people in the South have NO idea how to drive or behave in snow, and it leaves a yucky, muddy mess once it melts, which happens quickly.
The hoodie is turning out so beautiful! It tempts me to try, but then I remember I am already committed to socks, a cowl, and a Reader’s Wrap. Hoodies and sweaters will have to wait for another time.

So beautiful, and you are right, so peaceful. I just love the sounds when I walk in the Swiss mountains…..maybe I need another trip! Have a great time.

Glad you got out to play š My mum would never let me learn to ski, she said I’d probably break something. She had a point…

I wish I could ski but fear keeps me away…and the cold.
