Brave hellebores
A first sign of spring – finally able to peep out after being covered in snow for what seems like months and probably is.
More snow and -5 are forecast for next week, but for today I’m off for a run to enjoy the blue sky and sunshine while it lasts….and will come home and look at the brave little flowers in my garden (before they have another ton of snow dumped on their heads!).
Enjoy your Friday!
Helen

Enjoy – I saw the first crocus in my garden yesterday and all the snowdrops are finally properly out!

Yup, we’ve got minus five coming too š
I love your Christmas roses. Dad had loads back when I was growing up. I’ve tried them in Ireland and in France but never with much success. They are one of my favourite flowers. Thanks for your lovely photo!

I just checked the weather forecast as I’m in the middle of packing. Should I bring a winter coat or not. If you say you are expecting more snow, I probably should do! Thanks for the heads-up.

Such pretty flowers – they are very brave, aren’t they? I’m enjoying the sunshine on my side of the Lake today, and washing a few windows. A very gratifying chore for sure. Who knows what the weekend or next week will bring, so we must enjoy the sunshine while we have it š
have a good weekend!
