I consider myself a pretty laid back type of girl. (My children would tell you otherwise, but please close your ears). I’m really fairly easy going. But there are some things that really get my goat…

• Unpunctuality – making a big effort to get somewhere on time only to wait for ages for someone who clearly thinks their time is more important than mine.
• Untidiness – things just being dumped around the house when I’ve just finally got it tidyish
• Cartoons
• Loud music in the living room, particularly in the morning
• People who don’t write back
• Gherkins – why do they ALWAYS put pickled gherkins in sandwiches in Switzerland? Even when you take them out you can still taste them.
• People who only take and never give.
• Fathers who convince themselves that they are being good fathers by putting their careers first at the expense of their families and who almost never see their children.
• Reality TV – urgh , sends creepy shivers down my spine….
• Interfering neighbours
• Stroppy teenagers – haha that’s a good one round here I hear you saying!
• Graffiti on beautiful old buildings
• Smoking in restaurants – which has thankfully just been made illegal here
• Dog owners who let their dogs attack me when I’m running and expect me to realize that their ginormous drooling Rottweiler is only playing
• Horror films
• Early morning stress caused by children who are about to miss the train to school losing critical things, like their train passes or homework.

Otherwise I’m a pussy cat!
