Fresh Palette
There was a lovely treat waiting for me in the mailbox this morning: fat quarters of Fresh Palette, the new fabric range designed by Carrie Nelson.
I ‘ve been dying for this fabric to be released ever since I saw the pre-release ads, being a big Carrie Nelson fan and all. It is delightful. It has spring written all over it and is a fabric that is just unashamedly happy and totally girly. I can’t wait to make something pretty and fun with it.
But before I do that, there are some UFOs waiting in line….
Tomorrow is Sewing Tuesday, so I shall be up at the crack of dawn and raring to go. You won’t actually believe this, but I am positively looking forward to basting two quilt tops which have been on the waiting to be quilted pile for way too long. It’s time and there is going to be some action round here!
