I love…I hate…
I love….
π π π π π
- sitting on the patio in the sunshine with a nice cup of tea
- going to sleep listening to the rain on the roof
- running in the woods in the springtime
- sitting in the bath with a good book and a gin and tonic
- Indian food
- an undisturbed sewing afternoon listening to radio 4
- when my teenagers are getting along (doesn’t happen often and it’s a miracle when it does!)
- knitting socks
- swimming alone in a lake early in the morning
- flannel sheets in the winter
- the first day of the school term (when I’m at home π )
- going out for dinner and to a movie with my husband
- blogging
- sleeping long at the weekend
- my family – of course…even when I don’t like some of their behaviour….
I hate…
π π π π π
- trips to the dentist
- bad language
- rude and obstreperous teenagers
- being in confined spaces
- early mornings when I’m tired and would do anything to be able to sleep longer
- feeling cold in swimming pools
- friction with my neighbours
- washing windows
- basting quilts
- trying to work out why the heating system has broken down
- the smell of petrol
It’s funny, but it was way harder to think of the things I hate than the things I love!

What a lovely idea for a Saturday! I think you are right – thiking of things I hate is much harder. I hope you are enjoying your weekend and that the sun is shining so you can sit out on the patio!
