Olympic Socks
Just in time, my Olympic socks are finished.
Evelyn A. Clark’s Waving Lace Socks ( from Favorite Socks 25 Timeless Designs from Interweave – probably the best sock book ever), knitted in Madeline Tosh Sock in dried rose.
Time for something new š
I’m about out-Olympiced too – I’m ready to have my life back and lose the square eyes!

These are gorgeous Helen!! I wish I knew how to knit properly (I only do scarves LOL) cause I would love to do socks. Must put it onto the list of things to learn.
We are counting down to Sunday night. The Prince has a day off on Tuesday then back on for the Paralympics. It has been fun & interesting but hard work & stressful at the same time.
We are really looking forward to September!! We have 2 weeks booked for a break.

Love that pattern! I hink I must put that book on my wishlist. I am beginning to get Olympiced out too, though I have loved it. I only managed to knit one sock though – plain stocking stitch, super-wide for my mother, who has swollen ankles and bunions. Super-boring as well as super-wide and I’m not sure I can face a second. I may unravel this one and do a more interesting pair.

Love the socks Helen and I`ll be sad to see the end of the Olympics…btw, your fabric arrived at my mum`s today. How lovely to live in a country where the postal system is efficient!
