A little excursion on a hot day…..

It’s somewhere in the mid-30’s….far too hot to do anything sensible….other than head to the lake of Zürich…and lunch on the Insel Ufenau….

Mmmm yummy Fischknusperli (deep-fried perch, fresh from the lake)

    That seems a far lovelier way to spend the day than the way I did (at work)

    So there are some places, it appears, where there is still “Hitzefrei”, and that’s in a sewing atelier…! C got the afternoon off because it was too hot to work with fabric and pins… ;o

    Do you know, I’ve never been to the Ufenau, must do that sometime! Looks incredibly soothing.

    Ah, it’s always so nice to be by the water when it is so hot!
