Back to the real world…

Monday, October 15th, 2012

Hello! I’m back from here… (the Maldives if you didn’t guess)

and am now looking out of the window at this….

Now that the rain has more or less stopped, I hate to have to tell you that there is even s**w on them there hills….I guess winter isn’t far away. Oh well.

Anyway I’m feeling refreshed and raring to go. (And ready to do all the laundry!)

When last week’s post was delivered this morning I was thrilled to receive these lovely blocks from Annabella for the Sew Euro-bee-an bee. Thanks Annabella!

When I put the blocks that have arrived so far together this is what they look like…

I’m loving it….and stalking the poor postman!

Now time for a little sewing I think…..

Helen

Welcome home. I love holidays (don’t we all) but I do love coming home again. Our heating is on now and we are not too far away from our first log fire!
Your sea glass quilt is looking lovely Helen

It looks very beautiful there. I think your quilt is going to be lovely, ocean colours.

That is going to be a lovely quilt – amazing how all the blocks work together so beautifully.
Glad you had a good holiday.
We had a couple of snow flakes fall on Friday but today it is going up to 20 degrees – Mother Nature just can’t seem to make up her mind.

I am trying not to die of jealousy here – for the holiday and the gorgeous blocks, not the rain!!

There’s snow on some of the mountains here too, but thankfully not down here in the desert 😀
