Autumn in the City…

Monday, October 4th, 2010

It has been very hectic here over the last week or so – but I think I may have mentioned that before. Things are starting to wind down – my daughter’s confirmation yesterday was lovely, her godfather flew home last night and granny will head off tomorrow. Said daughter is now enjoying wonderful weather in the Bernese Alps on a school camp week…..it’s alright for some! I’m at home trying to work and get life back into some semblance of order and I’ve done nothing creative at all for days and days, which makes me feel rather antsy. So much to do which I’d really rather not be doing and I’m itching to get knitting or stitching…..

Anyway, due to my total lack of creative progress to report I will  regale you instead with some photos of Zürich taken in the glorious weather we enjoyed this weekend. I’ve lived near Zürich for well-nigh twenty years and I have to say I feel very lucky. It is a lovely city, small, but with everything you could want, full of history, clean and with perfectly functioning transport services. There is a reason it’s always at the top of the best cities to live in list!

I guess I should get a job with the Zürich tourist office – or at least ask them to sponsor my blog!

Have a great week. Normal creative services will be resumed as soon as soon as humanly possible!
